MYSTERIES AND BLOCK OF THE MONTH PROJECTS FEATURED
Our site was so outdated that many of our New Patterns were not included on the site. Also, I have had so much fun designing some “Mystery” projects for my shoppe. My customers have benefited, but you haven’t seen them yet. Also, included here are patterns that can be used as Block of the Month projects if you wish, or not. And………with all the precut fabric bundles available, I have come up with a couple really simple, really fun ways to use Jelly Rolls. Keep in mind that all of these designs can be used with alternate fabrics and not just wool applique.
“Grammie’s
Garden Party”
62” X 66” Finished
Wow! What a Grammie I had. She
was fundamental in who I am today. I like to think that I was Grammie’s
favorite, she sure made me feel that way. She taught me so much – to
garden, to sew, to cook, to pray, and to love. I credit her for the kind
of Grammie I am today. If I accomplish and touch the hearts of my
grandchildren as much as she did with me – it will be the best honor I
could ever hope for. I have thought about this project for over a year
and want to share it with you. It consists of 11 blocks which can be
done as a block of the month or any way you choose. It is shown in two
fabric versions. Both versions feature cotton fabrics but the dark quilt
has wool embellishments.

“Summer’s Bounty” Mystery Quilt
Block
Approximately 72 ½” X 72 1/2”
This is a Six part project
that can e made out of many different fabrics. It is also a great way to
utilize your scraps from you Stash.
This quilt is embellished with
Wool Applique in rich colors and embroidery that just adds all the
finishing touches your quilt will need.
The Wool appliqué can be
replaced with Cotton in the same colors as suggested for the Wool.
This project does need the Applique and Embroidery in order to really
make sense.
Done as a mystery or not…get your Brim hat on and get all
your Gardening tools ready!!!!

“The Wooly Village” Mystery Quilt Project
Approximately 60” X 60”
This five part project can be made out of
many different fabrics.
It is a great way to utilize your scraps
from your Stash. You can use a variety of neutrals for the background or
choose one.
How about a dark night sky?? The houses and roofs are
very scrappy. The trees and stars feature many greens and golds.
My
project features Wool Applique in Black and Red, but you could certainly
come up with an alternate plan.
The possibilities are endless!!!

“Christmas Mystery Wallhanging”
Approximately 33” X 38”
This
row wallhanging can be made out of many different fabrics with Wool
Applique accents.
Can be done as a four week mystery, or late night
get together. Easy to kit up and sell in your shop!

SNOWPENNIES
60” x 78”
(One pattern includes all twelve blocks)
Each of the 12 blocks is appliquéd onto a large background block. The
blocks are then stitched together without sashing and appear to be
floating or stitched on a whole cloth
background. Pattern includes instructions for making the whole quilt
top or individual Penny Rugs. This was designed as a Block of the
Month featuring “SnowPeople” representing every month of the year in
whimsical and fun applique that can be done by hand or by machine. Our
sample features a flannel background with 100% Wool applique. The
possibilities are endless....
